The SBU states that the suspicion is formulated according to parts 2 and 3 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
“According to the case materials, after the start of the full-scale war, the person involved created his channel on the YouTube video hosting, where he continued to spread the narratives of the Kremlin. To do this, the blogger regularly invited pro-Russian “polite experts” to his broadcasts, a large number of whom are currently hiding in the Russian Federation. During the interview, both the author himself and the guests of the studio repeatedly tried to justify Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as the war crimes of the Russians, in particular, missile attacks on the civilian infrastructure of our country,” the message reads.
The SBU states that those involved in the case face up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
