“As Kommersant found out, a carrier who was previously part of Roscosmos officially appealed to Rosivation to suspend his certificate of the operator,” the publication reads.
Currently, there is only one plane in the company, and the number of staff has decreased by about five times. It is noted that the main shareholder has stopped financing, and the tax service has already initiated a lawsuit on recognition of the airline bankrupt. The sources that journalists have communicated skeptically evaluating the chances of rescue of the carrier, despite his license and experience.
According to Rosivation, the certificate of the operator was suspended on February 20 at the initiative of the company itself. According to FAP-10 (Federal Aviation Rules), Space has 270 days for its restoration, but it is necessary to avoid the introduction of external management.
Meanwhile, in November 2024, the Federal Tax Service filed a lawsuit with Moscow’s Arbitration Court on the recognition of the airline bankrupt. A special flight detachment of the Ministry of Defense also joined the case. The regular court session on this issue was scheduled for March 19.
External management is one of the procedures used within the bankruptcy of the enterprise. It is introduced when the court decides that the company can still restore its solvency. In this case, the management is transferred to the external manager, who receives wide powers to change the structure of debt, selling property and search for ways to get out of the crisis.
In the context of space, if external management is introduced, it may mean – a complete removal of current management from decision -making, possible sale of assets to repay the debt and a high probability of elimination of the company, if it is not possible.
According to the legislation, in order to avoid external management, “Space” must find funding, repay debts, or prove that it can continue operating activities without court intervention. If this does not happen, the company may be declared bankrupt with further liquidation.
Russian economy is the latest newsAccording to UNIAN, in 2024 the Russian state gas giant “Gazprom” suffered a multi -billion -dollar loss. The company recorded a net loss of 1.076 trillion rubles or $ 12.89 billion.
Reuters writes that the loss was received mostly by reducing the market value of Gazprom Gazprom’s shares – Gazprom oil unit. At the same time, in 2023, the company received a net profit of 695.6 billion rubles.
