Kravchenko wants to see how in court will support the prosecution / photo of Facebook.com/ruslankravchenkokyivThe Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko, who was recently appointed to the post, assured that he will not take away the right exviceremier – Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernyshov, even after the entry into force of the Law of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau.
“You said that I was not something that I would violate the independence of the two organs. The answer is not,” he stressed at a briefing.
At the same time, the official reminded that according to the law, which the Parliament of Ukraine passed on July 22, the Prosecutor General will be able to take any case from NABU and SAP.
“Some journalists are well known when I have not yet come to this position that the new general was assigned to take Chernyshov’s case and I promise you into the eyes that after these changes, Chernyshov I will not take away. As NABU investigated, and I will look.
Chernyshov’s caseAccording to UNIAN, the exviceremier – Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernyshov is suspected of abuse of office and receiving undue benefits in particularly large amounts for himself and third parties.
The prosecution has requested in court for the use of a preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 120 million and withdrawal from office.
On July 2, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court did not grant the petition of NABU and the SAP to remove Chernyshov from the post of Viceremier-Minister.
