One of the reasons is their cost, says Roman Kostenko.

Roman Kostenko, People’s Deputy, Secretary of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, stated this on the air of “Radio NV”.
“I had my doubts at the time. And in principle, I understand that I was right… it is easier to make statements than to carry them out. That we understood that we will not have any 3,000 cruise missiles. Well, in fact, there are none, precisely our Ukrainian ones. I think that it is necessary to count how many there are, how many we have made. Unfortunately, now the president needs to ask the question whether this or he was incorrectly informed when he made this statement, or Those to whom he assigned the task did not fulfill it,” Kostenko said.
He added that such a task was unrealistic from the very beginning. In particular, the reason is the cost of such a number of cruise missiles, explained the People’s Deputy.
“If we are talking about normal missiles, then I think we need to ask again why it was not implemented and who is to blame for it. Was it really IPSO from the very beginning, when the president understood that he was saying something that could not be implemented,” Kostenko added.
Ukrainian missiles: important newsEarlier, People’s Deputy Yehor Chernev reported that Ukraine uses Flamingo missiles for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation. He noted that, in addition to it, Ukraine also has other missiles capable of striking at a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers, in particular, “Palyanytsia”, “Peklo” and “Neptun”.
Also, according to the people’s deputy, tests of the Ukrainian-made ballistic missile “Sapsan” are currently underway.
