Zelensky convenes the meeting / UNIAN’s collage / photo UNIAN, Dmitry Alyokhin, OPPresident of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky responded to a Russian rocket strike at 239 general -military landfill in Dnipropetrovsk region.
“Today, the Russians have struck a training camp in the Dnieper.
Zelensky announced a meeting in which the commander of the Land Forces Mikhail Dropaty, the head of the General Staff Andriy Gnatov, the commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky and the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov will participate. It will take place after the next round of negotiations in Istanbul:
“Our all combat guys are needed at the front – in the defense of Ukraine. Everyone. And every life we have to protect. All the decisions we need will be made.”
Hit on 239 landfillAs reported by UNIAN, today the land troops reported a missile strike on the location of one of their training units.
At least 12 people were killed as a result of the attack, more than 60 more were injured. The statement emphasized that no chic or mass meeting of personnel was conducted at the time of the impact.
The command of the land was appointed an official investigation, and soon Drapatya reported the submission of a report on the resignation from the post of commander of the Land Forces.
He stated that he was responsible for this tragedy because he could not fully ensure the execution of his orders:
