In an interview with the American Fox News TV channel, he was asked if he should apologize to Donald Trump after what happened in an oval office. He replied that he did not consider himself guilty:

“I respect the president and respect the American people. I think we should be very open and very honest and I’m not sure we have done something bad.”

According to Zelensky, in conflict with Russia, Americans and Ukrainians should be on one side. “I hope the president is on our side with us. It is very important to stop Putin,” he added.

When asked if it is possible to save relationships with Donald Trump, the President answered in the affirmative. According to him, it is not about them personally, but about the partnership of two peoples.
