Iran is an ally of Russia / UNIAN collage / ScreenshotsIn January 2025, Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian will arrive in Moscow to sign an agreement on cooperation between the two countries with Kremlin ruler Putin.According to the Tasnim agency, the corresponding statement was made by the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia, Kazem Jalali, who is currently in St. Petersburg. According to him, the countries are ready to sign a “comprehensive” document on cooperation. Pezeshkian will arrive in Moscow on January 17.
Tehran hopes that the transportation of Russian gas to Iran will become part of one of the important economic plans that will be completed in the near future:
“The ambassador stated that he considers bilateral relations between people to be the most lasting and effective, and emphasized the need for the activity of Iranian businessmen in Russia, noting that the presence of Iranian businessmen and the private sector in Russia will greatly contribute to the development of economic relations between the countries.”
