We also reported that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin devoted a large part of his New Year’s address to the participants in the war against Ukraine, trying to present the Russian aggression as a “struggle for truth and justice” and declaring the alleged popular support for the army’s actions. He completely avoided the topic of possible peace talks, which indicates the Kremlin’s intention to continue the war.
