Journalists found out that due to his participation, the state agency “State Rear Operator” purchased plastic flasks for the Armed Forces at a price three times higher than the market price.

So, as early as the beginning of 2024, the military asked the National Police to deliver Kanevsky to the TCC as someone who violates the rules of military accounting, to draw up a protocol.
“The facts of evasion of service and corruption scandals call into question not only Kanevsky’s activities, but also the transparency of defense procurement of Ukraine, as well as the reputation of anti-corruption organizations with which he is connected,” the newspaper writes, recalling that he was involved in a scandal with purchases for the army.

He, being registered at the Bilotserki TCC, did not appear on the summons and was declared wanted. He was served with a notice of suspicion within the criminal case under Art. 336 of the Criminal Code. And recently, the court chose a preventive measure for Lemenov – bail in the amount of 60,500.
