The Ministry of Energy reminded that current and truthful schedules of power supply restrictions are published solely on official resources / UNIAN collage, photos of UNIANSocial networks, in particular in Telegram channels, are spreading false information about the alleged introduction of emergency power outage across the country.
According to the Ministry of Energy, for the provision of plausibility, these fake messages are often accompanied by fabricated shutdown schedules for different cities and using the ministry logo.
“If you see a report of light disconnection with a call to subscribe to an unknown Telegram -channel to obtain details is a sign of deception and probably part of the Russian information and psychological operation. The fraudsters are thus trying to increase the audience of their channels by spreading false information,” the statement said.
The ministry emphasized that relevant and truthful schedules of power supply restrictions, if they are introduced, are published exclusively on the official resources of your local power companies.
