According to the correspondent of UNIAN, he informed about this during the briefing.It is noted that the troops received 15 batches of such mines with a total of 54,000 ammunition, they were recalled and sent to the manufacturer for further processing. According to the head of the Ministry of Strategy and Industry, more than 32,000 units have already been delivered. manufactured ammunition in accordance with the terms of delivery, which occurs in parallel with the replacement of defective ones.
The minister explained that the main drawback of the mines from these batches was a slightly smaller diameter of the mine, changed properties of the gunpowder, and also the capsule did not work on some mines. He noted that now the ministry carries out 100% incoming control of order executors.
“All enterprises check 100% of the mine’s geometric parameters. The controller sits and records,” said Smetanin.
In addition, the deputy head of the central department for the provision of means of destruction of weapons of the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Grebenyuk, noted that the troops, which are directly on the front line, received a complete replacement of mines. At the same time, in the brigades that went on rotation, the defective mines were simply removed and not yet replaced.
