The ministry could not clearly answer what medicines were included in the so-called Top 100 list.

Such a question to the Ministry of Health arose during a closed meeting with the deputy head of the Presidential Office Irina Vereshchuk after the participants drew attention to the presence in the list of Clofelin. The effectiveness and relevance of this tool in modern medical practice raises doubts, and the deputy chairman of the OP Irina Vereshchuk has questioned the expediency of inclusion of it in the list of “priority” for cheaper.
Deputy Minister of Health Eden Adamanov, who represented the meeting at the meeting, was unable to comment on why this drug was on the list and acknowledged that he did not remember the whole list of the TOP-100. He noted that the list was formed “based on Proxima Research.”
However, this statement was actually denied by a representative of the company itself, who was also present at the meeting. According to him, Proxima Research analysts did not participate in the list, although they are ready to carry out independent analysis and determine how much it is in real demand in the Ukrainian market.
Nevertheless, the MoH continued to insist that the Proxima analytics was the basis for the list. In response, Irina Vereshchuk suggested that Proxima prepare an objective list of truly popular drugs among Ukrainians and promised to hand it to President Vladimir Zelensky.
