“For many months, we have discussed various formats, and we finally came to a compromise option, which seems to have all parties. We are currently expecting the MOH decision,” Zaslavsky said.
According to the deputy, the consolidated position was developed with the participation of key market players, patient organizations, profile associations and people’s deputies.
In case of support by the government, reform will allow you to move from long discussions to practical implementation, which will have a positive effect on the availability of medicines for the population. This was the market participants to compete and extend the best, more profitable, prices for patients.
“I very much hope that this time the Ministry of Health adheres to the agreed format. Because there was already a situation where the ministry brought to the government a document that appeared points that were not discussed and did not agree at all. It caused distrust and rollback of the process back,” Zaslavsky stressed.

It was expected that this would reduce prices, because manufacturers no longer pay for marketing retail networks. However, prices, except for the Top 100 list, which were determined by the manufacturers themselves, did not fall.
Manufacturers just left themselves for marketing. This caused a temporary collapse on the market and deprived the opportunities for pharmacies to offer favorable prices and conditions for consumers.
