The Ministry of Energy cooperates with partners to ensure the stability of the energy system of Ukraine / photo ua.depositphotos.comThe Ministry of Energy of Ukraine is making significant efforts to obtain international support in the energy sector. People’s deputy, member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on energy and housing and communal services Viktoriya Hryb stated this.According to her, the Ministry of Energy actively cooperates with international partners to ensure the stability of Ukraine’s energy system.
“The Ministry of Energy is working to ensure that we receive this support,” the deputy noted.
Hryb emphasized the importance of international cooperation, especially with neighboring countries, to strengthen Ukraine’s energy security.
“We need this help. Because now in the countries of the former social camp there are thermal power plants that they do not use. But they will help us a lot if we provide the right equipment from such plants,” she explained.
The deputy also emphasized the need to attract foreign investments.
“We need to do everything today so that Polish business enters Ukraine. Because nothing unites us more than a common interest,” Hryb emphasized.
She also emphasized the importance of international support in the field of air defense for the protection of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
We will remind you that since October 2022, the Russians have carried out more than a thousand strikes on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, which significantly affected the stability of the energy system. Earlier, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko emphasized that Ukraine needs additional air defense means to protect energy facilities.
