Deputy Minister revealed the details of the fossil / collage of UNIAN, photo UNIAN, UA.depositphotos.comIn the resource agreement between the United States and Ukraine, which the parties concluded on May 1, there is no division of Ukrainian territories into occupied and uncope. Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Kachka told this in an interview with the public.
“We did not divide the territory into occupied and incomplete. The preamble states that we are talking about the whole territory of Ukraine, so there is no discussion here,” he said.
According to him, where the investment fund will operate, has not yet been discussed between the parties.
“Rather, this issue is the next stages of creation of the fund, but in principle, it was not contradictory. In fact, there is a common understanding that the territorial value of Ukraine is respected. The occupation of the Russian Federation is a fact, and the fund’s decisions will follow from it,” the Deputy Minister of Economy added.
Mining Agreement: What is known On May 1, the first Viceremierka-Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko together with the US Finance Minister Scott Bessent signed an agreement on the establishment of an investment fund of US-Ukraine reconstruction. The document provides that Kyiv and Washington will create an investment fund for the reconstruction of Ukraine, which will attract global investments in our country.
Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Kachka noted that the profit of the investment fund, the creation of which is provided by a resource agreement between the US and Ukraine, will be distributed not earlier than 10 years. According to the official, many details will continue to be resolved not at the level of governments, but at the level of entities that create the Fund: the US is an American Corporation for the Development of DFC, on the Ukrainian side-a private-public partnership agency.
