The Ministry of Economy has disclosed plans for the US Agreement on Ukrainian Resources

Ukraine will send a delegation to Washington to continue negotiations on the conclusion of a strategic agreement with the US / UNIAN, Musienko VladislavThis week, the Ukrainian delegation will go to the United States to negotiate on an agreement on important natural resources of Ukraine. This was reported by the first Viceremier-Minister, Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko on the network of X.

“This week, Ukraine will send a delegation to Washington to continue negotiating a strategic agreement with the United States on the distribution of critical natural resources. This dialogue reflects the strategic interests of both countries and our common commitment to building a strong, transparent partnership,” Sviridenko wrote.

According to her, the delegation will include representatives of the ministries, foreign affairs, justice and finance.

“We strive to reconcile the issue of project selection, legal framework and long -term investment mechanisms,” the minister added.

The Ukrainian Resources Agreement is the main newsAt the end of March, the US side handed over to Ukraine a project on the subsoil, which provides control of the United States over all Ukrainian subsoil. But there is no mention of security guarantees for Ukraine. However, the document is not final and will be discussed in the government and between the two sides – the USA and Ukraine.

Analysts have noted that in this form the agreement will block Ukraine’s path to the European Union. In his turn, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has publicly stated that the US Agreement should not interfere with Ukrainian European Integration.
