The Ministry of Defense proposes to allow military registration through electronic identification / collage UNIAN, photo UNIANThe Ministry of Defense of Ukraine proposes to allow military registration online through electronic identification. As noted in the notice on the ministry’s website, the Ministry of Defense has developed a draft law that allows Ukrainians of draft age to register for military service online using electronic identification.This draft law was approved at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. It is about the draft law “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service” regarding the features of the inclusion of citizens of Ukraine in the military registration of conscripts and their medical examination during their basic general training.” The ministry explained:
“It is planned to allow conscripts to enter the military register and to specify personal data through electronic identification in the service “Electronic cabinet of conscripts, conscripts and reservists”.
It is also planned to eliminate the commissions for such registration and cancel the medical examination during the registration of citizens for military registration.
“It is expected that citizens who obtain higher education will undergo a medical examination before practical classes of basic combined military training,” the Ministry of Education specified.
In addition, the provisions regarding the military registration of women who expressed a desire to undergo basic military service will be clarified – immediately before being sent to such service, at their request, they will be enrolled in the military registration of conscripts.
After the completion of basic military service, women will be registered for military service.
Mobilization in Ukraine – latest newsEarlier, the Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified some issues regarding the conscription for the mobilization of conscript citizens of certain categories. According to the message from the Command, the decision was made, in particular, with the aim of reducing public tension.
The Ground Forces do not specify what clarifications are in question. At the same time, the Command notes that every citizen between the ages of 18 and 60 can voluntarily join the army to bring our victory closer.
