The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kastutis Budris expressed this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine. “There are critical deliveries and replace them with nothing, and we all know what it is. That’s why we must continue to cooperate with the United States,” the minister said.
At the same time, he stressed that it is necessary to establish closer cooperation between the EU and Ukraine, as a future member, in the defense industry. In this regard, he mentioned that Lithuania is already investing in the defense industry of Ukraine.
“We will be stronger with our own production and there will be no gaps between Ukraine and Europe that we are producing. This is our goal,” Budris added.
