He said this in an interview with LB.ua.The head of the Ministry of Defense reminded that his department consists of the Armed Forces, GUR (Main Directorate of Intelligence, – ed.) and DSST (State Special Service of Transport, – ed.), and this is a clear vertical. He noted that previously the ministry did not control anything at all, but during the war it coordinates the Defense Forces.
“In this regard, there should be no emotions. Here, everyone works functionally. And Syrsky, too, according to goals and objectives. Good, working, friendly relations. And with Budanov (head of the GUR Kyrylo Budanov, – ed.) yes, and with Yakovets (Aleksandr Yakovets, head of the DSST, – ed.) yes,” Umyerov stressed.
