“Today, coordination of departures of officials and employees of the military administration is carried out without the involvement of the city’s Defense Council. In the context of martial law, I consider it expedient to consider such issues at the Defense Council,” he said.
Tkachenko also emphasized that the officials’ business trips are financed by the Kyiv community. Therefore, according to him, each such departure must be justified and considered individually.

On the morning of January 7, Timur Tkachenko announced that at the next meeting of the Defense Council, he plans to consider, among others, the issue of business trips abroad “of all representatives of local self-government bodies of the territorial community of the city of Kyiv and employees of the KMVA” with the approval of the Defense Council.
