The deadline for submitting a notification of non-receipt of a pension from the Russian Federation has been extended until April 1, 2026.

As the Minister of Social Policy Denys Ulyutin said, during this time you need to submit an appropriate application in order to continue receiving pensions in Ukraine.
For pensioners who underwent physical identification in the period from January 1, 2025 to February 1, 2026, the deadline for submitting the notification has been extended to April 1, 2026. All this time, pensions will be paid in full. Pensions, the payment of which was temporarily suspended in January, will be renewed in February with an additional payment for January.
“We understand that some people did not have time to complete identification for various reasons. That is why, together with the Pension Fund, we work with each such case, help people go through the procedure and restore payments,” Ulyutin said.
Suspension of payments to IDP pensioners – the latest newsOmbudsman Dmytro Lubinets said that many pensioners from among internally displaced persons, of whom more than 1.3 million are registered, were massively left without pensions in January. In order to receive a pension, it was necessary to go through the procedure of confirming the fact that they do not receive a pension from the authorities of the Russian Federation, which many citizens could not do in time or were not informed.
Minister of Social Policy, Family and National Unity Denys Ulyutin announced that as of January 1, pension payments were suspended for 337,000 pensioners who did not pass physical identification by December 31, 2025 and did not report that they do not receive a pension from the Russian Federation.
He emphasized that internally displaced persons (IDPs) who transferred their pension to the territory controlled by Ukraine are not required to undergo identification, but must report non-receipt of payments from Russia.
