As Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko reported, the amount of payments will be increased from March 1, 2026.

In particular, the minimum pension payment for each disabled family member from among the parents, spouses or husbands of fallen Defenders and Defenders, as well as for one child of the deceased Defender or Defender, to whom state social assistance has been assigned instead of a pension, will amount to no less than 12,810 hryvnias per person. Currently, the minimum amount of such payment is 7,800 hryvnias.

The minimum amount of pension payments and state social assistance will also increase for families in which the assistance is intended for two or more family members of the deceased defender, except for disabled parents, spouse or husband. In such cases, the minimum payment will be at least 10,020 hryvnias for each family member instead of the current 6,100 hryvnias.

“From March 1 next year, these payments will be indexed every year,” added the Prime Minister.

Increase in payments in Ukraine in 2026Since January 2026, the salaries of teachers in schools have increased by 30%. As Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko reported, the next stage is an additional 20% salary increase from September 1 for all categories of teachers. At the same time, additional payments are kept – 2,000 hryvnias for all teachers and 4,000 hryvnias for teachers of front-line communities.

From January 1, 2026, payments upon the birth of a child have increased to 50,000 hryvnias. In addition, payment of 8,000 hryvnias is expected under the “eYasla” program – support for the care of a child aged 1 to 3 years. And also an additional 7 thousand hryvnias for pregnant women who are not officially working.
