This was reported in her Telegram channel by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.

It is noted that the state package of shares will be set for an open electronic auction with an initial price of UAH 4.5 billion.

The Odessa Port Plant is one of the largest chemical complexes of Ukraine, which was produced by ammonia and urea before the war and exported fertilizers. But since 2022, the main production has been stopped. The plant worked partially, providing critical needs with oxygen and nitrogen and performing port hub functions.

“The enterprise must restore full work. This is only possible through the involvement of the private owner and investment. The sale of the IDP will allow to fill the budget, create new jobs and provide Ukrainian farmers with access to domestic fertilizers,” Sviridenko added.

The Odessa port plant is the largest state chemical plant produced by ammonia, urea, liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen. In recent years, the only profitable activity of the enterprise has been the transfer of grain. In August, it became known that this work also suspended through Russian shelling.

Odessa port plant – what is known According to UNIAN, the Odessa port plant is located in the city of Yuzhne, Odessa region. The company has reserves of ammonia, the leakage of which can lead to a large -scale man -made disaster.

In April 2022, the largest chemical enterprise of Ukraine – the Odessa Port Plant (OPC) – came under the war. The mayor of the city of Yuzhne, in which the enterprise is located, reported that the functioning of the enterprise is impossible. Almost all employees were sent on indefinite leave.
