Ukraine will never change its position on three fundamental points.

In particular, the spokesman commented on the words of the special ambassador of US President Steve Witcoff that the only thing Russia would focus on in negotiations is the issue of “five territories”.
“Ukraine is holistic, cathedral within the internationally recognized borders (state – UNIAN). This position of Ukraine will never change,” the quiet.
At the same time, he noted that Ukraine has three fundamental moments within a broad and longer process to peaceful settlement. It is not only about the ceasefire, but the real cessation of the war.
“The first moment – Ukraine never recognizes any Russian stolen territories as Russian. The second – Ukraine will never agree to no restriction on its defense capability, its armed forces or military assistance from partners. And the third – no friction is vetoed in the elections of Ukraine and unions.”
According to him, there are three simple principles on which Ukraine will insist in the process of a longer -term peaceful settlement.
“These points are not invented from the air. It all belongs to Ukraine under international law, under the UN Charter. It is not just fictional inventions. It is very important to emphasize. This is all owned by international law and the UN Charter,” Tyvyi said.
The spokesman added that Russian requirements for Ukraine are not legitimate by definition, because it has no right to make any claims to the Ukrainian regions, to speak to Ukraine about the ban on joining somewhere, about some restrictions on the Armed Forces and some other internal laws of Ukraine.
