It is noted that the head of the diplomatic agency said this against the backdrop of discussing the invasion of Russian drones into Poland’s airspace.
“If you ask me personally: we should think about it. Technically, we, as NATO and the EU, would be able to do it, but it is a decision that Poland cannot make on its own, but only with its allies,” – quoted the Sikorsky newspaper.
He also proposed to create a coordinated approach against the Russian shadow fleet in the Baltic Sea.
“Germany or NATO could create a maritime control zone in the North Sea and thus control the entrance of these ships to the Baltic Sea,” he said.
He added that if at least one of these Russian ships sank in the Baltic Sea, it would be an “environmental disaster of unprecedented scale.”
