In particular, this contingent should be capable of deploying on land, in the sea and in the airspace.

He noted that today in Paris, the issue of contingent was an important part of the discussion between President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and European leaders.
“We think – and there is a response from the European side – that this contingent and this discussion should include land, air and sea,” the quiet said.
In particular, in the future, the contingent should cover all three dimensions.
“There are now discussions on this topic. There is a readiness of a number of countries to participate in various formats in this contingent to guarantee long -term peace and security,” the spokesman said.
According to him, there is a sufficiently detailed discussion of parameters and modalities about this contingent, including where this contingent can be located both when it will be deployed and “which countries will give any parts”.
At the same time, he pointed to the importance of attracting the United States. In general, it is not specifically about troops, but about the US participation to support this initiative.
“We understand that this is of practical importance for all these plans to appear. Plus, of course, these plans depend on the peace process – on how the war will end, because it is directly directly related things,” the quiet said.
European troops in UkraineAs reported by UNIAN, today, March 27, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that in the context of the prospect of departure to our country a foreign military contingent as a guarantee force of protection against Russian aggression there are many questions, but had little answers. According to the President, there are increasingly proposals from European leaders, but some countries are ready to give Ukraine security guarantees and not send their contingent.
Zelensky emphasizes that in order to ensure peaceful agreements, Ukraine requires a military contingent from partners, not the UN and the OSCE.
France and the United Kingdom will send a military delegation to Ukraine to work with the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the coming days to help them plan the future. This team will focus on the preparation of the “format of the Ukrainian Armed Forces”.
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced a plan for Guarantee Forces for Ukraine. This idea is still under planning. These forces will not be a replacement for peacekeeping troops to maintain a ceasefire.
Macron said several states would contribute to the formation of “guarantee forces”, but they will not be placed on the front line, but instead – in strategic zones. At the same time, he said, not every country wants to join it.
