At the same time, he noted that there was no specific amount of such assistance or the minimum threshold. The amount of support is determined by the countries that accept Ukrainian refugees.
However, Lammer also stressed that Brussels provides Member States of Significant Financing to help refugees from Ukraine.
“Recently, we have published a decision to grant another 3 billion euros for Member States receiving Ukrainian refugees,” the European Commission representative summarized.
