The list of divisions and positions of BPS operators under “Contract 18-24” / photo 22 Separate mechanized brigadeA special contract for operators of unmanned systems in the experimental project “Contract 18-24” provides for its conclusion for 2 years. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
“The contract is concluded for 2 years. A prerequisite is a direct involvement in hostilities for at least 12 months,” the message said. Also, a special contract for BPS operators provides:
- Service in the positions of ordinary warehouse in the Armed Forces, NSU and SPSU.
- The preparation period is increased to 4 months.
It is said that the participants of the project will be entitled to a mortgage under 0%, free education, full social package, and after the contract is completed – on a deferral from the call for 1 year and free traveling abroad.
It is emphasized that the changes also expand the categories of servicemen, who can receive a cash assistance at the amount of UAH 1 million once. It is about those who, since February 24, 2022, at the age of 25, joined the army and served in the positions of ordinary, sergeant and sergeant staff and as of February 13, 2025 had at least 6 months of participation in hostilities.
This norm is common to:
- the term, who, after the start of large -scale aggression, concluded a contract;
- servicemen who were certified for the officer rank.
Expanding the “Contract 18-24” programAs reported by UNIAN, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the Ukrainian government had prepared an expansion of the contract for 18-24 years, in particular, on working with drones.
The Ministry of Defense reported that the list of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and staff positions of operators of unmanned systems, where volunteers may be served at the Project “Contract 18-24”.
From now on, one of the 46 units of the Armed Forces can choose the appropriate category of citizens for this type of contract.
Among them, in particular, a 414 separate brigade of percussion unmanned aviation systems “Magyara Birds”, 20 separate regiment of unmanned K-2 systems, 427 Separate Regiment of Rarog Unmanned Systems, 429 Separate Regiment of Achilles Unmanned Systems.
