According to the correspondent of Radio Svoboda, Tyshchenko was present at the meeting via video link, and Pysarenko – in the hall. Also in the hall, the victim is Dmytro Mazokha, a former fighter of the special unit of the GUR “Kraken”.
The prosecutor asked to choose a preventive measure for Tyshchenko in the form of 24-hour house arrest, saying that he can put pressure on witnesses and hide from law enforcement agencies.
Speaking in court, Tyshchenko stated that he did not violate any demands of the investigation and stated that he was under pressure from law enforcement officers.
On December 17, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced that it had already completed the investigation and sent an indictment against Tyshchenko.
On December 23, Tyshchenko’s preliminary preventive measure expired (round-the-clock house arrest), but it could not be extended in time due to the deputy’s failure to appear in court.
The deputy is suspected of the illegal deprivation of liberty of a person committed by a group of persons following a prior conspiracy, which was accompanied by inflicting physical suffering on the victim (Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In June, a video from Dnipro spread on social networks: on it, people in balaclavas used force on a man who was walking with a baby carriage and made a remark to the deputy’s escort.
Later, it was found out that it was the bodyguard of Mykola Tyshchenko, a majoritarian people’s deputy expelled from the Servant of the People faction. He also appears in the video. And the man they handcuffed is a veteran of the Kraken unit, Dmytro Mazokha. The police opened two criminal proceedings: for the fact of inflicting light bodily injuries and illegal deprivation of liberty.
Tyshchenko himself explained the situation on social networks by saying that “a military man attacked the policemen.”
During one of the court hearings, Tyshchenko called the charges against him politically motivated.
