In Ukraine, some ministries disappeared / photo ua.depositphotos.comDuring the meeting on Monday, July 21, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to rename and reorganize the work of a number of ministries. This was reported by the Cabinet representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk in his Telegram.
It is noted that the Ministry of Social Policy will now be called the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine. Thus, the Ministry of National Unity created by the created Ministry of National Unity was annexed to it.
The government also decided to rename the Ministry of Economy into the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine. This decision was allowed to liquidate the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
In addition, the Ministry of Strategic Industry was liquidated. Its functions were transferred to the Ministry of Defense.
Defense Minister Denis Shmigal noted that this decision creates a single space of defense management and increases the coordination and interaction of all its elements.
“The institutional functions of the Ministry of Stratege will be integrated into the structure of the Ministry of Defense. In particular, the functions of attracting investments in the defense industry, cooperation with partners in the field of defense, including joint production of weapons,” – said Smigal.

In addition, the Head of State expects that Ukraine’s defense and security forces will continue to receive all the necessary resources to protect our country, to protect our people.
On July 17, the Verkhovna Rada appointed a new composition of the government, which was proposed by Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko. 253 people’s deputies voted for their dismissal from the posts of the Cabinet of Ministers and the new government appointed.
