“CMU Resolution No. 1275 dated 11.11.2022 “Some issues of defense procurement during the period of the legal regime of martial law” was supplemented by the procedure for the procurement of unmanned systems, means of radio-electronic warfare of the tactical level of domestic production and their components, which is in effect during the martial law,” he noted Melnychuk.
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection explained that the government has regulated the procurement of unmanned systems, tactical level electronic warfare equipment and their components to replace the experimental project for the needs of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Service, the SBU, the National Police and others components of security and defense forces under martial law.
“From today, in order to ensure the continuity of the supply of drones and EW means, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed the purchase of drones and EW until the end of martial law in Ukraine. Prior to that, defense purchases were carried out within the framework of an experimental project approved by … the resolution of March 24, 2023. No. 256, which allowed for the defense procurement of unmanned systems and EW facilities in order to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities for the security and defense forces until March 27, 2025,” the State Intelligence Service said.
Earlier it became known that 1.89 billion UAH were additionally allocated to combat brigades for drones.
