The program is designed for people who need the most support / photo – UNIANThe Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a program of one-time monetary aid payments of 6,500 hryvnias for the most vulnerable categories of citizens as part of the “Winter Support” package. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko in Telegram.
According to her, the program is designed for people who need the most support: orphans, children under guardianship, children with disabilities in foster families, IDP children, IDPs with disabilities, single pensioners.
“The funds will be automatically credited through the Pension Fund. The launch of the program is planned for the beginning of December. It will be possible to spend the funds on medicine, clothes, shoes,” Svyridenko said.
The Prime Minister added that the program will reach more than 660,000 people.
New winter support 2025 from Zelensky – what is knownAs UNIAN reported, new payments for Ukrainians were announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Minister of Social Policy Denys Ulyutin. The head of state instructed the government to develop a program of assistance, which will become operational in December.
According to the president, the 1,000 hryvnias aid will operate in the same way as last year. Money can be spent on the most important needs: utility bills, food, medicine, travel, etc. The amount will be paid to all citizens who apply for it in December.
