“Kharkiv and Borodyanka have undergone significant destruction through shelling. It is important to test technology in the most difficult circumstances. Ukraine is able to introduce innovations even in the face of possible delivery of supply and limited resources,” Fedorov said.
According to him, experts will be able to estimate the potential of 5G in the reconstruction of cities. Also, by 2030, Ukraine will gradually move from 3G to current standards of communication, including 4G.
“This will happen step by step so that you do not feel sharp changes. New technologies will provide a faster Internet and more stable connection, and the work of the networks will become even more efficient,” the minister added.
5G technology in Ukraine is the latest newsOn July 31, it became known that the fifth -generation network technology was tested in Kiev at a speed of up to 10 Gbps per second at the Kyiv Aviation Institute (KAI).
Earlier, in May 2024, Minister Mikhail Fedorov reported that 5G technology was launched for the first time in the test mode. Then the Vodafone and Nokia operator organized a telegram and combined Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv and Helsinki to check the quality of 5G communications.
