The visit of SI aims to show that the rapprochement of the United States and Russia did not affect Beijing’s relations with Moscow, the newspaper said.

At the same time, he has a mission to weaken the US on the world stage, writes Bloomberg.

It is noted that in the framework of his visit, SI will hold personal talks with Putin. These will be the first negotiations between the two leaders since US President Donald Trump has introduced high tariffs for China. According to the publication, the fact that the Chinese head will visit the Red Square parade, signals that the recent improvement in relations between the United States and Russia has not affected Beijing’s relations with Moscow.

“The key to the agenda is what are the opportunities and how to coordinate the actions of Russia and China to use these four years (Trump’s presidency – ed.) To overcome the US hegemony,” said Alexander Gabyev, director of the Center “Eurasia Carnegie”.

According to him, Putin and Xi want to “help Trump destroy the American rule and reach a multipolar world order where Russia and China will be able to flourish.”

The publication writes that while Trump is promoting the foreign policy “America above all” to assert the global dominance of the United States, “Beijing positions itself as a more stable superpower through a flurry of successful propaganda videos and diplomatic appeals to countries.”

Bloomberg also named other signals that aim to demonstrate an inseparable relationship between the Russian Federation and China. Thus, the Kremlin political scientist Fyodor Lukyanov recently noted that visiting Xi Jinping Parade in Moscow is a sign of his “solidarity with Russia”.

“This shows that the partnership between Russia and China is developing regardless of Washington’s efforts,” Lukyanov emphasized.

In addition, the publication noted that on the eve of the visit, Xi Putin emphasized the “strategic ties” of Russia with China in a documentary, published on Russian state television on May 4.

“The turbulence in the world has not decreased, but only intensified, and we have such a reliable, stable relationship that the very fact of their existence strengthens global stability,” – quotes Bloomberg of the Russian dictator.

China also emphasizes special links between the PRC and the Russian Federation. In particular, Professor of International Relations at the University of Genmin and the former van Ivay diplomat, who is considered close to the Government in Beijing, made a statement that “China and Russia want to establish a new model of relations between the great powers.”

“The American system is not equal, it is not inclusive. China and Russia always need each other to support the multipolar world,” the Chinese diplomat emphasized.

Parade in Moscow on May 9: What is knownAs reported earlier, UNIAN, China Sy Jinping has officially confirmed that he would go to the military parade to Putin. The China’s head will awake in Russia for four days – from May 7 to May 10. He plans to participate in the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the German-Russian War, to discuss with Putin the development of a strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as to sign a number of documents.

In total, nearly three dozen foreign leaders will come to Russia to participate in the parade on May 9, the Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov said. According to him, at the highest level will be represented Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, unrecognized Abkhazia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Burkin-Faso, Venezuela, etc. In addition, the Kremlin has invited the Ambassadors of the DPRK and the USA, the Secretary General of the SCO, the CIS, the EAC, the OSCB, the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation, the Union State of Russia and Belarus, the African Union Commission, the President of the New Bank of Development, and the Ministers of Defense of 34 countries.

Ukrainians consider an unlikely attack on a parade on May 9 in Moscow. Although speculation is increasing in Russia that Ukraine can take this opportunity to put the Kremlin in an uncomfortable position in front of its allies, but a high -ranking representative of the Ukrainian Defense Forces stated by The Washington Post that an attempt is unlikely because of low chances of success. Like, all Russian air defense systems are thrown to protect Moscow.
