By video link, Sirskyi informed the partners about the operational and strategic situation at the front, an assessment of Russia’s plans for the continuation of the war and forecasts for its further actions.
He separately emphasized the importance for Ukraine of strengthening air defense, in particular for the protection of critical infrastructure, as well as the ability to strike military facilities deep within the territory of the Russian Federation.

On January 15-16, NATO’s headquarters in Brussels held a meeting of NATO’s highest military body – the Military Committee – in the format of the Chiefs of the General Staff. As announced, the meeting will focus on further strengthening the deterrence and defense of the Alliance, strengthening NATO partnerships around the world, as well as on supporting Ukraine.
