These tasks were determined by the President.

Following the meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, she reported that the President had identified the following tasks priority:
- strengthening the economic potential of the country;
- expansion of public support programs;
- scaling our own weapons production in Ukraine.
According to Sviridenko, in order to accomplish these tasks, it is necessary to go for “tangible deregulation” and the maximum removal of bureaucratic obstacles, reduction of “uncritical” expenditures of the state budget, full concentration of state resources on defense and other measures.
“The state apparatus has no right to waste our country’s resources and potential. Ukraine deserves to be among the strongest economies of Europe. Ukrainian society has to get clearly clear tools for social support. Every Ukrainian military, every Ukrainian veteran deserves a specific and tangible state respect and gratitude,” she wrote.
Since the new Prime Minister, according to the Constitution, should submit a new composition of the government, the list of candidates that will be offered to the chair of ministers, Sviridenko promises to announce soon.
It should be noted that the Verkhovna Rada is appointed by the Prime Minister, so Sviridenko is only a candidate for this position.
Zelensky announced the change of governmentAs UNIAN wrote, earlier today President Zelensky reported that he suggested that Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko head the government instead of Prime Minister Denis Schmigal, who holds this position since March 2020-the longest in the history of Ukraine.
A few days ago, Zelensky reported that he was considering transferring Rustem Umerov from the post of Minister of Defense to the post of Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States. According to the President, if this decision is made, more radical changes in the government are followed.
