The United States has provided Ukraine with a $1.35 billion grant, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced on November 13.

“We are directing these funds to priority humanitarian and social programs,” he said on his Telegram channel.

Shmyhal clarified that Washington directed the funds through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

“Our government continues to work with allies to mobilize the necessary financial resources this year and next year,” the head of government added.

Last week, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft state budget for 2025 for the second reading. According to Shmyhal, budget expenditures were increased by 50 billion hryvnias. Of these, an additional 24 billion will go to education, 6.3 billion to medicine.
