“I never got into world problems, but Serbia is interested in being a meeting place for the presidents of Russia and America. We are fully prepared to guarantee the safety of both presidents. There is no country that can match Serbia in terms of the level of support for President Trump, none, so we are not talking about leaders who were this or that, but rather the support of the people as a whole, and on the other hand, this is a country where President Putin still very popular. So I think this place on the globe would be extremely suitable for both of them,” the politician explained.
It is worth noting that Serbia is a member state of the International Criminal Court, which must detain Putin based on an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court.
Earlier, Switzerland said it could arrange a meeting between Trump and Putin, and the ICC warrant would not prevent the meeting.
