According to the materials of the SBU, the court was arrested on a “large batch of industrial products and raw materials” that Deripaska possessed:
“It is about almost 500,000 tons of bauxite and alumina, which was made in our country before a full -scale invasion. They were stored in the warehouses of the Nikolaev alumina plant, which previously belonged to the Russian. The total value of the arrested assets is over UAH 2.11 billion, ”the message reads.
According to the SBU, these materials were the main component for the production of aluminum at the Rusal Deripaska factories in Russia. They belonged to him because of the controlled commercial structure registered in one of the EU countries.

The same company was a customer of products in the Ukrainian plant. Law enforcement officers found equipment in early 2023 and blocked the departure of raw materials.
The Security Service reminds that Deripaska is included in Putin’s environment and is in production for products for the Russian military-industrial complex.

In February 2024, the SBU reported suspicions to the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska and two of his toplemen in Ukraine in involvement in financing the armed aggression of Russia. Deripaska received the suspicion in absentia, and two managers of the Glukhiv Quarry of Quartzi detained the SBU. Deripaska is also suspected of organizing the appropriation of property and legalization of criminal property.
