The head of state spoke about the Special Operations Forces soldier undergoing rehabilitation at the Superhumans prosthetics center.
“I believe that this result did not depend on me. I am sure – on the doctors. But the moment is pleasant. The guy, I took a picture with him, he did not walk. He is working on it. He was in a hospital in the United States of America. And here he helped… I got a message before the interview. And what’s the thrill? – What he says: the president came and I started walking,” Zelenskyi said.
The head of state added that a message came from this soldier. According to the president, this fighter wrote to him: “Our inside joke. I saw the president and left. I spent half a year in the States, they couldn’t get back on their feet there.”
The president noted that it speaks of people’s faith in him.
“People are heroic, different. People in different professions. And I want to wish everyone: believe in Ukraine and believe in yourself! Because we have such a very strong human energy. Believe in your brothers and sisters. Believe in your relatives and loved ones.” – emphasized Zelensky.
He is convinced that from unity, human energy and spark between people, positive moments happen when a person starts walking again.
“And I think that’s what separates us from the crowd that came to us. That’s the humanity. And we find a lot of answers in people. Success doesn’t always come today, but it will definitely come if you treat people that way, if they you adore life. I would like to wish this energy to all the people around you. Health and that they inspire. And so it is necessary that someone inspired Ukrainians. And therefore, Ukrainians can inspire each other by themselves,” Zelenskyi said.
Zelensky’s visit to the Superhumans centerAccording to the Office of the President, on December 17, 2024, in Lviv, Zelenskyi visited the hospital for war veterans and the Superhumans prosthesis and rehabilitation center. The President familiarized himself with the work of the medical center, talked with medics and soldiers recovering from injuries.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also awarded six defenders with III degree “For Courage” orders.
