The minister noted that “on New Year’s Day, a time of peace and hope, Russia chose violence by attacking Kyiv and taking innocent lives.”

He assured that Czech diplomacy will continue to be on the side of Ukraine.

“Therefore, here is my resolution: Czech diplomacy will continue to stand firmly on the side of Ukrainians, because peace begins with bringing the aggressor to justice,” said the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry.

What is known about the Russian attack on the capital of Ukraine on the morning of January 1 Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with drones. As a result, two upper floors of a residential building on Pechersk were destroyed.

Later it became known that two people died as a result of the attack, and there are also 6 wounded. 4 people were rescued. The National Bank of Ukraine reported that the roof of the NBU building was on fire due to an enemy attack. There is also damage in the Svyatoshyn district of Kyiv.

“Even on New Year’s Eve, Russia was only worried about how to hurt Ukraine.” The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, reacted to the attack with these words.
