As of this morning, more than 73,000 consumers remain without electricity in Odesa.

Deputy Minister of Energy Oleksandr Vyazovchenko announced this at a briefing.
“The enemy continues systematic attacks on Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions, where large-scale damage to electricity generation, transmission and distribution networks has been recorded,” the deputy minister noted.
He also informed about the consequences of new enemy attacks on energy. According to Vyazovchenko, as a result of night strikes on the energy infrastructure of Odesa, more than 73,000 consumers remain without electricity as of this morning. The deputy minister added that their recovery is ongoing.
More than 26,000 subscribers are in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast due to attacks on energy facilities.
Vyazovchenko noted that energy companies are forced to continue using blackout schedules and power restrictions due to significant damage to networks and limited power transmission capabilities.
“Restoration works are ongoing both at the high-voltage substations of NEC Ukrenergo and at the facilities of the distribution system operators. Energy engineers are working around the clock to return the equipment to work as soon as possible,” – concluded the Deputy Minister of Energy.
Ukrenergo added that as of the morning of December 19, blackouts were also recorded in Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.
