According to the First Deputy Minister of Energy, the Russian Federation is blackmailing Ukraine and the international community.

He recalled that the NPP has been occupied for more than three years, its power units are in a cold stop, and the station does not produce electricity. At the same time, the NPP continues to receive electricity supply from the power system of Ukraine.
Speaking of the possibility of reconnection of the station to the power grid of the Russian Federation, the official confirmed the existence of such plans with the enemy, but noted that the station was not ready for restart.
He explained that the occupiers have no “no spare parts or materials, they do not know how to repair (equipment of the ZPP), to carry out maintenance, how to operate it.”
“The station is not ready for work, there are high risks of inclusion of power units in the work. The complete inspection of equipment and systems should be carried out, because repairs to the NPP are not carried out. It is unknown in what condition the equipment is.
The First Deputy Minister is convinced that the Russian Federation cannot ensure the restoration of the safe operation of the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP, and statements about the relevant intentions are simply trying to blackmail Ukraine and the international community.
Russia wants to restart the ZPPPetro Andryushchenko, Head of the Center for Occupation Studying to the RF Education NPP. He reported that the enemy was building a transmission line to restore the full work of the station.
For his part, CEO Raphael Grosey said that the agency has no evidence of the reconciliation of the NPP to the Russian power system. He added that the station could not be restarted due to lack of water to cool the reactors.
