This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhiy Tyhiy, during the briefing, a Radio Liberty correspondent reports.
According to him, the date is known, however, for security reasons, it is currently not announced.
“The date of this visit has been determined in advance. I will not name the date for security reasons, but I can confirm that we are waiting for General Kellogg in Ukraine, we will be happy to receive him,” Tykhi said.
Weed also added that Kyiv would be happy to hold a discussion with him and provide information from the Ukrainian side.
“We will be glad (…) to convey our point of view, primarily information from the Ukrainian side, which is important to take into account when developing a vision by the new team of ways to achieve a just peace,” said the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The day before, the Reuters agency, citing sources, reported that Kellogg will visit Kyiv and several other European capitals in early January.
Kellogg himself confirmed his visit and promised to provide details later. He also expressed confidence that Ukraine and Russia are ready for peace talks.
On November 27, Donald Trump chose Keith Kellogg as his special representative for Ukraine and Russia. He noted that Kellogg served in important national security positions during his first term.
Kellogg, a retired Army lieutenant general who was Trump’s longtime top defense adviser, served as national security adviser to former Trump Vice President Mike Pence.
