“Together with Ukrainian partners, the Japanese company plans to start the production of pickups using the technology of large-unit assembly, and in the future they plan to switch to small-unit production (CKD),” she said during a business forum organized by the Japan Foreign Trade Organization, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.

“Ukraine has a long-standing production and engineering tradition, a significant fleet of modern equipment, which makes Ukrainian industrial enterprises promising partners for production cooperation with Japanese companies. The government, for its part, offers support in the form of compensation for projects with significant investments and tax and customs benefits within industrial parks,” the official added.
