“Over the past two and a half years, we have seen a strategic shift in European capitals that have become more open to expansion. I believe that Vladimir Putin has been the biggest supporter of expansion,” Plenkovich said.
He reminded that at the end of June, Ukraine officially started negotiations on joining the EU together with Moldova, and this year Bosnia and Herzegovina and five other countries in the Western Balkans agreed to start negotiations.
