According to Polsatnews, this decision was made in response to protests on violations at some polling stations during voting. The vote will be recalculated at 13 polling stations.

It is noted that the conversion of votes is intended “to determine the number of votes valid for each candidate for the post of President of the Republic on the vote, which took place on June 1, 2025 at each of the above precincts.” The Supreme Court will recalculate votes in the said commissions “by means of judicial assistance of competent district courts”, the material reads.

For example, the results of candidates were changed at one of the polling stations in Mazowiecki, the city authorities reported.

“A similar mistake was made at the polling station No. 95 on the Stavova Street in Krakow, where the distribution of votes cast in the second round of the presidential election was changed, as a result of which Navrotsky won there, although Taskovsky should win. The investigation in this case is conducted by a district election commission in Krakow.

According to the media, violations could occur in several areas. However, as stated in the material, these mistakes would not affect the final election result. The difference between the two candidates was more than 369 thousand votes: Navrotsky gained 10 million 606 thousand 877 votes, and Tshaskovsky – 10 million 237 thousand 286 votes.

Recently, the newly elected President of Poland has stated that he is currently against Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. He added that Poland should support Ukraine in a conflict with the Russian Federation, but its country also has its interests.

Meanwhile, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorsky assured that Poland will not refuse to support Ukraine with the arrival of Navrotsky.
