According to PAP, the head of the office of the Polish President Zbignev Bogutsky reported.
The provisions of the law provide for payments for Ukrainians within the social program “Family+” (800+) subject to employment of one of the parents of the child.
“The President forced this government to finally limit payments to Ukrainian citizens, especially for those who do not work in the Republic of Poland (or those) who are not even here … This is, in fact, the end of tourism from Ukraine at the expense of a Polish taxpayer,” Bogutsky said.
He stressed that this is the last signed law, which concerns such a form of assistance to citizens of Ukraine, they say, the President of Poland will no longer sign any other law to support Ukrainians.
Bogutsky emphasized that now the Ukrainians who came to Poland, escaping from a full -scale war, will have to move to “normal conditions” of legalization.
According to him, on September 29, the Diet will be submitted to the extension of the period, after which foreigners may apply for Polish citizenship, as well as for criminal prosecution for “promoting the ideology of Bandeperism.”
New Law on Supporting Ukrainians in Poland: What is knownAs reported by UNIAN, in early September, the Poland government approved a new bill on assistance to refugees from Ukraine. According to it, Ukrainians will be able to receive payments within the 800+ programs, good start and active parents depending on professional activity in Poland. This activity provides for proper employment and payment of taxes. The exception is provided for those who raise children with disabilities – provided that the relevant certificate from Polish institutions is provided.
