During a press conference in Brussels, he said that he does not fully understand who attacked whom, speaking about the war in Ukraine, writes HVG.hu.
“They (leaders of the EU – UNIAN countries) calmly have breakfast at home, drink coffee and think that from a moral point of view it is right to help a small country that was attacked, of course, it is not so small anymore, and it is not entirely clear who attacked whom, but in any case, we are now helping the country that suffered violence, and it does not cost us anything. But in the end, they will pay,” Orban said.
According to the Prime Minister of Hungary, the idea of using frozen Russian assets is tantamount to “declaring war on Moscow.” He added that the Western countries are mistaken, believing that “this war can be waged without spending a penny.”
In addition, Orban stated that Europe is supposedly more concerned not with achieving peace in Ukraine, but with victory over Russia. According to him, that is why the EU countries do not think about the consequences of providing a reparation loan to Ukraine.
