This is reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health.It is noted that the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 15 No. 1338 approved new approaches to the process of assessing the daily functioning of a person, which will be implemented from January 1, 2025.
This reform involves the introduction of electronic referral to the expert assessment team.
“Thanks to the electronic system, the patient’s path to obtaining a decision will be shorter. Procedures that are important for many are also simplified: establishing or extending disability, updating the individual rehabilitation program (IPR),” the message reads.
Regarding how to act in 2025, the ministry explained that in order to extend the disability status or renew the IPR, you need to contact your doctor. It will create an electronic referral to the expert team.
To determine the need for auxiliary means of rehabilitation (ARM), it is possible to refer not only to the assessment of a person’s daily functioning – ARM can be appointed by a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team also within the framework of obtaining rehabilitation in the field of health care or by a military medical commission during the examination of military personnel.
At the same time, the medical and advisory commission still appoints DRZ for children, the Ministry of Health added:
“For the extension of temporary incapacity, the need for care and social services and for other purposes, the doctor will also refer you for evaluation by expert teams.”
Getting a disability is the latest newsEarlier, Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko and his deputy Maria Karchevych said that according to the new rules, it will not be necessary to go to a hospital to receive disability. At the same time, a person will be referred for additional examination only once.
Lyashko emphasized that currently the key task of the Ministry of Health is to find a “golden mean” so that people who are to receive a disability group have the opportunity to do so within the deadline set by law.
